Warning Signs You’re Desperate

Recently me and my buddy Adam were on the phone were I told him about my shoulder pain.

Basically I couldn’t lift my left arm over my head.

Which got me panicked immediately.

Cause in my mind I had those dark scenarios…

Maybe is a dislocation.

Or maybe some impingement.

Or even a tendon rapture…

So I’m trying to think back… Did I slept funny? Or was it because I haven’t warm-up properly before doing my kettlebell swings.

And not only I started to freaking out.

But also I start to calculate how long now will it take for injury to heal.

I don’t know should I see a doctor… or maybe better a chiropractor… they’ll probably sell me the whole package.

I just want to get it done.

And that’s when things got even worse…

Cause I took my phone out.

And google shoulder pain.

And then shoulder impingement.

And even shoulder surgery…

In just a 10 minutes I got a headache from all the options on how-to deal with shoulder problems.

And every information was different.

6 weeks to recover…

3 months to recover…

I found one guy who suffer from shoulder pain for over 8 years…

BOOM!

That was it.

That’s when I really lost it.

All my alarms went off.

And my chest tightened.

I seriously felt like my whole world squashed down.

Cause if I can’t even lift up my arm over my head.

Not only I won’t be able to train.

But it will start to affect my energy.

Which is a huge deal for me.

Because all my day rely on my energy.

And having that taken away means my whole plans got ruined.

Now this scenario may sound insane to you.

But for me that was a real issue.

Which brings me to the point of this story.

That a lot of the time when you’re uncertain about stuff.

Maybe it’s your health.

Or maybe it’s your finances.

Whatever it is…

Once you are in this vulnerable position of uncertainty you’re so much more susceptible to absorb any B.S information that is out there.

Because people are so desperate to get rid of their pain fast.

And they will validate any information that they read.

Even if something seems like immediate red flag.

They don’t listen to their rational brain.

They just follow the emotional storm.

And if that’s where you’re right now.

Maybe you really want to lose weight.

And you gobbling on all information that is out there.

And it doesn’t seem to help.

Just remember to take a step back.

Put your rational hut on.

And try to look at where you’re from different perspective.

That’s all I got for ya today.

So enjoy your Wednesday.
